We Get Right With God by His Grace!
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast, Ephesians 2.
God loves you and wants to be with you always on earth and then in heaven.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life, John 3:16.
But we have a problem. We rebel against God; we do things we know we shouldn’t, and fail to do things we know we should. That rebellion separates us from God in this life and the next, Romans 3:10-12, 23; 6:23.
However, God loves us, and has a plan to fix things.
- We need to admit and turn away from our rebellion, Acts 3:19; I John 1:8-9.
- We need to ask Jesus to be the Lord, the Boss of our lives. John 1:11-13; Romans 10:9-10, 13.
9 That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 13 For whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved, Romans 10.
Just pray this prayer: God, I disobey You. I don’t want to do that stuff anymore. Jesus, come into my life, be my boss, and save me.
Abraham believed God . . . . So Abraham was called God’s friend, James 2:23.
If you pray that prayer, please let us know so that we can help you get to know God better.
